Who am I?

My Professional Biography

I recently graduated from my Master’s studies in Nutrition & Behaviour at Bournemouth University with distinction, after having completed a BSc in Psychology at Leeds Beckett University, for which I was awarded first class honours. I’m also a Registered Associate Nutritionist with the British Association for Nutrition (AfN).

I am currently continuing my professional development through a 12-month ICHWC accredited Functional Medicine Health Coaching Certification run by the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, in association with The Institute for Functional Medicine.

My Approach to Nutrition & Health Coaching

I am passionate about applying a natural and holistic approach whose foundations are based in functional/integrative nutrition and lifestyle management. This enables a patient-centred approach through which I work to empower clients to address the root causes of bodily imbalances in order to enhance their overall physical and mental well-being. 

I am incredibly lucky to have had the unique opportunity to undertake degrees in both Psychology and Nutrition & Behaviour. Marrying the knowledge from these inseparable disciplines with my experience in down-to-earth coaching allows me to work with individuals’ holistically, helping them to achieve and maintain longterm improvements in their health.

I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients. A few examples include individuals wishing to improve sports performance, those with type-2 diabetes or obesity (that benefit from metabolic therapy such as low-carbohydrate and ketogenic diets), autoimmune conditions (such as acne, eczema, other skin issues, asthma or allergies), digestive concerns (including food intolerances, IBS & Crohn’s disease) and individuals with learning or behavioural difficulties (such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia & Autism).

On a day to day basis, I mostly work with clients who have far less complex health concerns. Often, what motivates an individual to approach is the wish to increase their energy levels, lose weight or optimise their overall health and performance.
